June has been full of amazing events. This weekend is no different. Here are the top events happening in Huntsville this weekend.

1. Movies In The Park

Movies in the Park returns every Friday night in June.

Summer Movies in the Park, presented by Meta, will be hosted at Constitution Hall Park. Each night will have themed entertainment prior to the movie showing.

Piper and Leaf will be open for movie-goers to purchase tea, coffee, and other awesome products! Plus, a themed food vendor will be at each showing!

Make sure to bring your own blanket and chairs, and come out to enjoy these Summer Friday Nights!

TIME:
Music starts at 7:30PM. Movie starts at sunset.

2. Dusty Slay at Stand Up Live

Dusty Slay is coming to Huntsville. Named “Best Comedian” by the Nashville Scene [local.nashvillescene.com] in 2019, the man they also called one of the “most hardworking Music City stand-ups” had a break-out year with Variety [variety.com] naming him one of their “10 Comics to Watch for 2019.” His episode of Comedy Central’s “Stand-Up Featuring” premiered in May, and he’s now appeared twice on NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” following previous sets on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “Last Comic Standing” and “Laughs on Fox.”

3. Juneteenth Celebration at The Camp

Juneteenth is known to some as America’s “Second Independence Day,” Juneteenth celebrates the official freedom of the enslaved people of the United States at the end of the Civil War. For more than 150 years the African American community has been celebrating this day. Join us at The Camp for a huge day of celebrating with our local community.
