In a brand-new, state-of-the-art medical office at The Range, ophthalmologist Caroline Watson, M.D. is now seeing patients, bringing with her a passion for advanced vision correction and changing the lives of patients of all ages. She officially opened the Huntsville location of Alabama Vision Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in June.
Dr. Watson, a fellowship-trained refractive cataract and anterior segment surgeon, is a third-generation physician. After graduating from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, she completed an ophthalmology residency at Tulane University followed by a prestigious fellowship in anterior segment and refractive cataract surgery at The Eye Institute of West Florida. Dr. Watson serves patients with a wide range of ophthalmic services, including cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, ICL, laser vision correction, ocular surface reconstruction, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and dry eye disease treatments.
Her journey into the field of ophthalmology was fueled by an unwavering fascination with forward-thinking technology, the complexity of surgical procedures, and the opportunity to forge deep connections with patients.
Throughout her distinguished fellowship, Dr. Watson has completed thousands of vision-correcting procedures, earning her a reputation as a trusted expert in her field.
