MidCity District is hosting a three-day event from June 30th to July 2nd to celebrate the 4th of July! The event offers a variety of family-friendly activities. Throughout the weekend, there will be live music, a watermelon carving contest, a farmers market called “The Market at MidCity” with numerous local vendors, and a Mullet and Mustache Contest.
The festivities kick off on Friday, June 30th, with all-day food, beverages, and live music at The Camp. On Saturday, July 1st, there will be a yoga session in the morning, followed by food, beverages, live music, and various activities at The Camp. The highlight of the day will be MidCity’s biggest fireworks show ever, starting at 9:30 pm! On Sunday, July 2nd, The Market at MidCity farmers market will take place from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, featuring over 50 local vendors. Additionally, there will be a deadline of 1:00 pm to bring carved watermelons to The Camp. The event will conclude at 2:00 pm with a live performance by The Camp Counselors on stage.
