May 6 – 7, 2022 | Huntsville Master Chorale, I Dream A World

The Huntsville Master Chorale premieres “Cosmic Cycle,” a piece HMC commissioned from local composer, Erin Huelskamp Bohn. Also, hear the winning submissions from recent Composition Contests: the 2020 winner, “Three Songs of Spring” by Timothy Smith and the 2021 winner, “I Dream a World” by Cole Reyes. Meet the composers prior to the concert!

The Huntsville Master Chorale, is a non-profit organization composed of highly trained singers. The group serves as a long-standing, dynamic performing ensemble that fosters creativity by keeping excellent singing alive in North Alabama.

Takara Swoopes is Publisher, Editor in Chief of Huntsville Magazine. A Decatur, Alabama native, Takara recently returned to North Alabama after twenty years of living in Washington, DC, San Diego, Tokyo, Japan and most recently Honolulu, Hawaii.
