The Huntsville Venue Group (hvg) plans to unveil its new Winter Park on November 22 from 4:00-9:00pm. Located throughout Apollo South and The Orion Amphitheater, the attraction will feature a variety of seasonal activities including an ice-skating rink inside the amphitheater, meet and greets with Santa Claus in his workshop, igloo rentals, fire pits and s’mores kits, live music, holiday markets and much more.
Open until January 29, 2023, Winter Park is free to enter with additional activities, festive snacks and drinks available for purchase. Following the grand opening, the park will be open Mondays-Thursdays from 4:00-9:00pm, Fridays from 4:00-11:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am-9:00pm. Of the park, General Manager of the Orion Amphitheater Katie Millar shares, “A big part of our mission at The Orion and Apollo South is to create extraordinary experiences beyond our concert season, and Winter Park offers that and more.
