WHISTLESTOP BBQ FESTIVAL Midcity | Huntsville Magazine

The WhistleStop BBQ Festival, known as the Rocket City BBQ Festival, is set to take place at MidCity District on October 20 and 21! Since its start in 2001, WhistleStop has been a cherished tradition in North Alabama, serving as a key fundraising event for the EarlyWorks Children’s Museum.

The festival’s proceeds contribute to the expansion of EarlyWorks, enhancing its offerings to the community. This year, MidCity District and local Huntsville company, Integration Innovation, Inc. (i3), have come together to ensure that WhistleStop continues to thrive and return better than ever. The festival has expanded its grounds, with over 10 local food vendors, a kid zone, live music, and more. Starting on Friday at 4 pm and continuing all day and night on Saturday.
