Get ready for a Halloween-themed extravaganza that’s not just for humans! On September 30, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the Huntsville Botanical Garden is hosting “Pooches and Pupkins.” This unique event invites dog owners to bring their furry friends to the garden for a day filled with canine festivities.
The main attraction is the Pooch Parade, where dogs decked out in creative costumes strut their stuff for a chance to win in the doggy costume contest. The winning pups will be rewarded with a “Golden Dog Pass” for 2024. There’s no need for pre-registration, but a $5 admission fee per dog ensures entry into the Garden.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy quality time with your pets while surrounded by the beauty of nature. “Pooches and Pupkins” promises a day of fun, and, of course, lots of adorable dogs in delightful costumes. So, grab your pup’s favorite costume and come join the excitement at the Huntsville Botanical Garden on September 30th!
