Enjoy Jazz in the Park-Huntsville (JITPH) at Big Spring Park this weekend. JITPH is a collaboration between the City of Huntsville Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Magic City Smooth Jazz. It is also a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cultural activities through various styles of jazz at no cost to the public. Food trucks will be on-site. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the evening. The Sunday, September 17, 2023 lineup includes:

5-5:30 p.m. Pre-Concert: Calhoun Jazz Band

6-7 p.m. Opening Act: BK Jackson

7:30-9 p.m. Headliner: Alex Bugnon

A Decatur, Alabama native, Takara recently returned to North Alabama after twenty years of living in Washington, DC, San Diego, Tokyo, Japan and most recently Honolulu, Hawaii.
