The Huntsville Museum of Art Guild proudly presents its annual flagship fundraiser, UNFRAMED: Off to the Races. 2023’s Derby-themed event will be complete with the excitement of the Derby race on a large screen and live music for guests to enjoy. Both live and silent auctions will be filled with exceptionally curated items. In addition, the event will feature fun-filled activities including the ever-popular bourbon pull!

New to this year’s event, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a Bourbon tasting in our outdoor Bourbon Garden, featuring local and distinctive distillers.

Takara Swoopes is Publisher, Editor in Chief of Huntsville Magazine. A Decatur, Alabama native, Takara recently returned to North Alabama after twenty years of living in Washington, DC, San Diego, Tokyo, Japan and most recently Honolulu, Hawaii. She is a graduate of Howard University, a Fulbrighter, and mom of four and is happy to call Huntsville, Alabama home.
