When you meet Veronica Cram, founder of Insight Strategic Solutions, the first thing you’ll notice is her warm and welcoming smile. Far from a stereotypical “number cruncher” Veronica is an engaging and charismatic businesswoman, eager to share her journey and philosophy on business ownership.
“When I first started my business, I had no idea what I was doing,” Veronica laughed. “I had never started a business before and it was a scary, yet exciting time. It was also the middle of a pandemic. But I knew I wanted to stop being a slave to the time clock and step out on my own. I wanted to help businesses understand their financials so they could maximize their profitability and cash flow – based on their needs. That was my passion, and I was determined to make it work.”
And work it did. Just last fall, Cram was awarded “Emerging Business of the Year” by the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce and “Professional Services Business of the Year (Gold)” by the Madison Chamber of Commerce. She’s definitely making waves in the business community and with dozens of local clients trusting her and her team with their financials, it’s safe to say her business philosophy is a strong one. But Veronica isn’t solely focused on her business success; she also gives back to the community by volunteering her time and sponsoring numerous non-profits, including the AUM Foundation, New Hope Children’s Clinic, WEDC, Happi Health, and more.
Her passion for helping businesses understand their financials runs deep. She knows that when a business community is strong, the entire community benefits.
“InSight Strategic Solutions isn’t an accounting firm, nor is it a financial advisor,” Veronica explains “We go deeper than that. We use financial data to help owners set and achieve goals, make sure cash flow is healthy, and make educated decisions on company growth. We’re like the link between all of these services, using numbers to help business owners prioritize and implement growth strategies.”
And the future looks bright for InSight Strategic Solutions. Cram’s strategic vision and goals for the next five years include growing her business to provide coaching services for 100 clients or more and hiring more financial professionals in the community to assist her in her efforts to make the businesses in Huntsville and Madison County more profitable.
“Ultimately, I want to help as many businesses as I can,” Veronica said. “I truly believe that when a business community is strong, everyone benefits. And that’s what drives me to keep pushing forward every day.”
